Pragmatic Play has released a new online slot game that took a lot of inspiration from Super Mario for their theme.
The game is called Super Serge and instead of a plumber, we now have a electrician.
The game uses 6 reels which are each 4 symbols high and comes with 4096 ways instead of paylines.
You will find low paying card symbols and medium to high paying tools, which can appear stacked on all reels. You will also find wild symbols on all reels, but not stacked. Bonus or scatter symbols can appear on each reel. And lastly we have money symbols on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5 and special collect symbols, which are magnets, on reels 1 and 6.
Super Serge comes with a nice maximum payout of 10.000 times your bet and is a medium volatile slot game.
Features
Money Collect
Money symbols appear on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5 and come with values of between 1 and 24 times bet. Or any of the listed jackpot amounts. Special Collect Symbols appear on reels 1 and 6. When one or more Collect Symbols appear and Money Symbols are present, all values are collected and paid.
Wild Modifiers
When wild symbols land, they are collected into the top three coils above the reels. At random when a wild is collected, it can trigger a special modifier for the current spin.
- Expand – Reel become 6 by 6 big
- Cash – One of the middle 4 reels will be filled with Money Symbols
- Collect – Increases the chance of getting Collect Symbols
Free Spins Features
3 or more scatter symbols will trigger the free spins feature. Pick one of the following bonuses:
- Cash Collect Spins – 3, 4, 5 or 6 scatter symbols will award 2, 3, 5 and 10 Cash Collect Spins respectively. Before spins begin 1, 2 or all 3 Wild Modifiers become active during the entire bonus. During these spins only Money Symbols, Collect Symbols and blank spots appear.
- Free Spins – 3, 4, 5 or 6 scatter symbol will award 8, 12, 20 and 40 free spins respectively. During free spins any wild symbol appearing will receive a random multiplier of between x2 and x5. If more than one wild is part of a winning combination, they are added together. 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 scatter symbols during free spins will add 5, 8, 12, 20 and 40 extra free spins respectively.
Bonus Buy
The bonus can be bought for 75x, 125x and 250x bet, awarding 4, 5 and 6 scatters respectively.
Verdict
Super Serge is a fun looking game with some solid graphics. The game looks very nice and is really a nod to Super Mario. But cleverly changed as not to get sued.
The gameplay is nice. I like that it’s a 4096 ways game, with wilds on all reels. And the special wild modifiers to give it something extra during base spins.
For the free spins, I think both features are solid choices and both can award some great wins. It’s just what you enjoy more I think.
