Twister is one of those games that almost everybody knows about. This game, that was released in 1966 and already sold 3 million copies in the first year of release has been popular since the beginning. It’s just one of this simple fun games, that I think nowadays either kids, or drunk people play.
And NetEnt has steamed up with Hasbro, the publisher of Twister to give us a new slot game with the same title, Twister.
NetEnt really takes us back to the 60’s with this game, since they went with a very 60’s looking theme.
The game uses 4 reels that are each 6 symbols high and comes with 1296 ways, instead of paylines. So symbols pay left to right, starting on reel 1, no matter where symbols are.
Besides low paying card symbols in the 4 Twister colors, you will also find 4 high paying characters in the same colors. Then there are also scatter symbols, the Twister logo on all reels and a special Twister Spinner symbol, to trigger special modifiers. Wild symbols can only appear because of these modifiers.
Twister comes with a maximum payout of 4.300 times your bet and is a high volatile slot game.

Avalanches
Winning combinations are removed from the reels and all remaining symbols fall down into the empty spots. New symbols then fall on top, which can create the option for another win. This keeps happening until no more new winning combinations appear.
Twister Spinner
The special Twister Spinners can appear on all reels during the base game and during free spins.
When a Twister Spinner lands, a wheel will spin and will land on a body part and a color, just like the original game. Each body part stands for a special wild symbol and each color stands for how many the wild symbol is worth, or how many you will get.
- Left Foot – Will transform the Twister Spinner into a wild and will upgrade all appearances of the the low paying symbol it lands on into the high paying symbol with the same color.
- Right Foot – Will transform the Twister Spinner into a wild with a multiplier depicted on the color it lands on.
- Right Hand – Will transform the Twister Spinner into a locked wild symbol that will remain on the reel for a set number of Avalanches, depending on the color it lands on. Locked Wilds do not stay between spins.
- Left Hand – Will transform the Twister Spinner into a wild symbol and adding more random wilds to the reels, the number depends on the color the spinner landed on.
Free Spins Feature
3 or 4 scatter symbols will award 6 and 11 free spins respectively.
Free spins start with x1 multiplier that is increased by x1 each time a Twister Spinner lands.
2, 3 or 4 scatter symbols during free spins will add 1, 2 and 4 extra free spins respectively.
Bonus Buy

Verdict
I think NetEnt released a fun new game with Twister. And since they are using the Hasbro license, I am wondering if we can expect more intellectual properties from Hasbro turned into a slot game. I would like it. Because at least we get some original slot themes and not another Egyptian or Irish theme.
Twister comes with enough features to keep the game fun. The ways, the modifiers. But also free spins are nicely done.
It’s a pretty chill game. I don’t know how else to describe it. It’s just relaxing to play and it can give some nice wins. But you shouldn’t be expecting some amazingly, overpowered new slot game with a ton of features and massive wins. That’s not what this game is. And I think that’s fine.We’re not all extreme slot players.
Overall just a fun looking, nice playing new slot from NetEnt and hopefully a start to a series of Hasbro themed games.
