Cascading symbols
The game uses cascading symbols. This means that all winning symbols are removed, all remaining symbols fall down and new symbols fall on top. This can create several winning combinations in a row.

During the base game, when you manage to get 5 consecutive winning reactions in a row, a wheel will spin with a random multiplier of between x2 and x50.
This multiplier is applied to the total win of the bought spin.

Before free spins start the multiplier wheel will award a random multiplier of between x2 and x50 which applies to all wins.

Verdict
To be honest, Wheel O’ Gold is a really good game. But because of the theme, it feels like a very generic game.
It’s nice that the game offers scatter pays and cascading symbols, but a lot of games do. The multiplier wheel after the 5th cascade is a nice extra. But what makes the game great are those free spins. Landing big multiplier and a lot of bonus symbols, can really award some great wins.
The base game might not be the most innovative or even most interesting, but I think free spins make up for it.
