Another Play’n Go slot game has been released after Rich Wilde and the Tome of Madness, called Wild Rails.

And again they have managed to give me a unique feeling slot game with some cool bonuses.

Wild Rails comes with 30 lines on 5 reels, 4 symbols high. The reels do spin a little different than normal, horizontally the symbols will move by like a train and then stop. Of course it doesn’t matter how they move, it’s still the same way paylines work as any other slot game. But it is very thematic, because the game uses a classic, 1920’s train theme. A lot like Ticket to Ride the board game.

Wild Trains

During every spin you have the chance that between 1 and 4 wild trains will stop on the reels. These trains will have wild symbols on them, which normally don’t appear on the reels. Each train can contain up to 5 wild symbols, so a full screen of wild symbol is possible during this feature.

Ticket to Free Spins

3, 4 or 5 scatter symbols will award 5, 7 and 10 free spins respectively.

You start the free spins with 1 wild train during each spin. The scatter symbol will also become a wild symbol on the reels when it appears.

Collect scatter symbols to fill a meter on top. After 3 symbols collected you will receive another wild train and 1 more free spin. If you have collected all 4 wild trains you will get 3 extra free spins and every 3 scatter symbols collected after this will add another 3 free spins.

Verdict

I really like the theme of Wild Rails. I love Ticket to Ride the board game and this game feels a lot like that game. I like the 1920’s train theme a lot.

The game play fast and especially those wild trains are a lot of fun. They will always award wild symbols on the reels. So getting several of these wild trains can really pay out big.

The free spins feature is also a lot of fun. But you do need to collect those scatter symbols fast to get a good bonus.

Wild Rails is an amazing new Play’n Go slot game which I would suggest you try out.
