Pragmatic Play has released a new online slot game called Wild Skullz. A game that comes with a hard rock band theme where each member wears a scary mask on their face. Expect a lot of flames, noise and show.
The game uses 5 reels that are each 3 symbols high and comes with 243 ways instead of lines.
Besides low paying card symbols and medium to high paying musical instruments, you will also find regular wild and scatter symbols on all reels. Lastly you can land an expanded wild on any reel, more on that below.

Features
Expanded Wild
During base spins, an expanded wild symbol can land on every reel except the first. When it appears, it comes with a random multiplier of between x2 and x512. Only one expanded reel can be present on the reels.
Free Spins Feature
3 scatter symbols will award 5 free spins.
On the first spin an expanded wild symbol will appear on the rightmost reel. After each spin it will move one reel to the left.
When a win occurs with the wild symbol, it will get a x2 multiplier. Each time another win is made with the wild, that multiplier is doubled, up to the maximum of 512x.
During free spins, when a scatter lands on reel 5, the walking wild resets back to the last reel and starts moving forward again after each spin.
The feature ends when the walking wild reaches the first reel and no scatter symbol appears on reel 5.
Bonus Buy
Wild Skullz comes with several extra bonus buy options. Including buying free spins for 100x bet. And buying super free spins for 600x bet. Super Free Spins will start the expanded wild on a x32 multiplier.
Verdict
Wild Skullz is one of those slots that doesn’t really uses features overly extreme. It’s pretty much just an expanding wild with a random multiplier. But it works very well.
The theme is nicely done, even though I personally am not a big fan of rock themes.
And free spins can be very exciting. Especially when that multiplier keeps going up and spins keep resetting.
