Wild Survivor Overview
Play’n Go released a very nice looking new slot game called Wild Survivor.
For this game they are taken us into the wild. With an explorer and all sorts of animals. What seems to be somewhere in North America maybe? It all looks very nice.
The game is played with 5 reels that are each 3 symbols high and it uses 10 lines.
Besides the low paying card symbols you will also find all sorts of animals for the high paying symbols. Then we have the explorer, which counts as the wild symbol. And lastly a pan above a fire acts as the scatter symbol. Both wild and scatter can appear on all reels.
Wild Survivor comes with a maximum payout of 3.000 times bet and is a medium volatile slot game.
Features
Wild Prize Gathering
Each animal comes with a random monetary value during each spin.
These values can be collected during a random Wild Respin feature and during the Free Spins bonus.
Wild respins can trigger at random after any normal spin. Each wild symbol that appears will collect all values from the animals. These can be worth x1, x2 or x5.
During free spins wild symbols will always collect all values and values can now be x1, x2, x5, x10, x25, x50, x100 and x250.
Free Spins Feature
3, 4 or 5 scatter symbols will award 10, 15 and 20 free spins respectively.
Before free spins start one random added booster is selected:
- Calls & Lures – More animals appear
- Mug Booster – More wild symbols appear
- Night Vision – The multiplier on animal values start at x2 instead of x1
- Knife – 3 extra free spins
During free spins each wild symbol appearing will always collect all values from animals.
Also each wild symbol is added to a meter above the reels. Each 4th wild symbols collected will add 5 more free spins and increase the multiplier on animals by x1.
Normal scatter symbols don’t appear during free spins.
Verdict
If you are a little familiar with online slot games you might instantly recognize the similarities with the “Big Bass” slot games by Pragmatic Play. But luckily Play’n Go did manage to give it their own unique spin. So the game is different enough.
Overall I really like this game. It looks very nice and the features are fun and seem to appear quite often.
I wish the maximum payout would be a little higher, but then again, this is a medium volatile slot game, which are becoming more rare it seems.
I enjoyed the game and am sure I would play it again.
