Wild Swarm 3 Chocolate Eggs – Overview
Push Gaming has released several online slot games in their Wild Swarm series. And now they are adding another title, which seems to be the first “Easter” slot game release of the year. The game is called Wild Swarm 3 Chocolate Eggs. And it’s one of those 3 pots slot games, but with some added features on top of that.
The game uses a bee theme but the bees seem to be at a Easter market, since we see a lot of bunnies and on top we see 3 different chocolate eggs, hence the name.
You will find 5 reels that are each 4 symbols high and a total of 20 lines.
Besides low paying card symbols and medium to high paying bee themed symbols, you will also find golden dollar symbols, which is the highest paying symbol. All regular paying symbols can appear stacked on all reels. Wild symbols can appear on all reels. There are no scatter symbols, but different colored bees, more on those below.
Wild Swarm 3 Chocolate Eggs comes with a big maximum payout of 23.903 times bet and is a medium volatile slot game.
Features
Bees
During base spins, 4 different bees can land. When one or more of these bees land, they are collected into the chocolate eggs above the reels and will then turn into a wild symbol. The different bees are:
- Red Bee – Is collected by the Red Jackpot Egg
- Green Bee – Is collected by the Green Multiplier Egg
- Yellow Bee – Is collected by the Yellow Sticky Egg
- Queen Bee – Is collected by a random colored egg. The Queen Bee has a higher chance of triggering a feature than the normal bees.
Wheel and Jackpots
When a chest symbol lands during the base game, or during free spins, the wheel is activated. A wheel will spin and award a random reward.
In the base game these are wins of between 2 and 250 times bet, one of the jackpots or one of the free spins features.
In free spins these are between 2 and 250 times bet, 2 and 5 extra free spins, a fully sticky wild reel, between 2 and 5 random jackpot tokens of the same type or one of the jackpots.
Free Spins Features
Each time one or more bees are collected you have a chance to trigger a free spins feature. You can activate free spins with 1, 2 or all 3 eggs active. Which will award 7, 10 and 12 free spins respectively.
Depending on which egg activates, determines the bonus that is active. If more than one egg is activated, the bonuses combine.
- Red Jackpot feature – Each wild that appears is a sticky wilds with a jackpot token, which is collected to the corresponding jackpot. Collect enough to instantly win the associated jackpot. You win the same jackpot multiple times during a feature.
- Green Multiplier feature – Multipliers of x2, x4 and x8 appear above reels 2, 3 and 4 respectively. When filling one of those reels with sticky wilds, the multiplier applies to each sticky wild below it.
- Yellow Sticky feature – Before free spins start 4 random sticky wilds are added to the reels.
Queen Bee – When a Queen Bee lands during any of the features above, a random number of between 1 and 4 sticky wilds are added the reels and the Queen Bee will also become a sticky wild.
Verdict
In most cases I am not the biggest fan of these types of slots. I feel that most of them are pretty similar and I personally don’t like the random trigger.
But I have to say, Push Gaming did make this one a bit more interesting. It comes with fun features and even the base game can award some nice wins and also trigger features when that chest lands.
Overall it’s still a 3 pot slot game, but this one does add a little bit more than most of them. So if you aren’t the biggest fan, like me, you might enjoy this one. If you like these games in general, I think this one is also very enjoyable.
