Bloxx Thunder Overview
It’s been awhile since Swintt released a fun new slot game, the latest was Dragon Lair. Lately they have been releasing more classic slot games. But now they have released a game called Bloxx Thunder, which comes with a great base game bonus and a free spins feature.
The game uses a Zeus theme for this game. With several Greek symbols and big pillars next to the reels. But, as with most Swintt games, the theme does look a bit dated. This provider is not known for their amazing graphics. But that doesn’t matter to me.
The game uses 5 reels that are each 3 symbols high and comes with 30 lines.
Besides special money symbols, which can appear stacked on all reels. The game also features wild symbols, which are Zeus himself. These can also appear stacked on all reels. And there are scatter symbols on all reels, which is the hand of Zeus with a lightning strike.
Swintt never really offers a maximum payout amount. So I’m not able to offer this information.
Bloxx Thunder Features
Bloxx Win
As you instantly notice, on the screen you will find the normal reels on the left. But there are reels on the right that only show bloxx with random cash prizes on them. These bloxx can also randomly change values between spins.
When at least 3 consecutive reels, starting from reel 1, will show the special dollar symbols you will collect the values of the blox on the right.
The dollar symbols will match with the same symbols on the right reel set. And you are awarded with those values. The winning bloxx are removed after this and new bloxx will fill in the spots for the next spin.
Free Spins Feature
Getting 3 or more scatter symbols will award 10 free spins.
Before free spins start more special dollar symbols are added to the reels, so the chance to increase the Bloxx Win is increased during free spins.
Not only because of the extra dollar symbols but also because wild symbols now also count. Which they don’t during the base game.
3 or more scatter symbols during the feature will add 10 more free spins.
Verdict
I really like games from Swintt. And I was also already aware of Bloxx Thunder. Because the game was available in land based casinos in Germany, where I play regularly.
It’s a good game. The Bloxx Win is a nice feature and can already award some great wins during the base game. And especially during free spins this is increased.
But it’s also not easy to trigger both features. It’s a tough game. And besides the features the game is a bit basic, beside the stacked wilds.
