Eager Beavers Overview
It’s been a while since I last posted about a new Thunderkick slot game release, in fact it’s been two months exactly with Dragon’s Wrath. But now here we are with their latest release, Eager Beavers.
A new slot game revolving around a set of beavers that have build a big dam.
The game uses 6 reels and each spin between 2 and 5 symbols will drop into those reels, independent of each other. But reels can also grow, which means this game can go up to 1 million ways. Symbols pay left to right, but they don’t need to start on reel 1, as long as they are on consecutive reels.
Besides low paying card symbols and medium paying fruit, you will also find 4 different high paying beavers. And there are also bonus symbols on all reels. Wild symbols are also present on all reels.
Eager Beavers comes with a big maximum payout of 10.000 times your bet and is a high volatile slot game.
Features
Increasing reels
Matching symbols on at least 3 adjacent reels count as a winning combination. When this appears, the winning symbols are removed and the reels that had winning symbols will increase by 1 symbol, up to a maximum of 10. Then new symbols fall on top, creating the option for another win.
Wild Symbols
There are also special wild symbols that can appear on the reels. When a win is made with one of those wilds, the corresponding feature is triggered.
- Wild Splash – all instances of a randomly picked normal paying symbols will change into wilds
- Wild Fall – a random number of wild symbols are added to the reels
There is also a random feature called Wild Rapids, which will add one or more random wild symbols on top of reels.
Cash Bonus Game
3 scatter symbols will trigger the Cash Bonus Game.
During this feature you will only get 1 spin and the reels will only land cash values of between x1 and x100 or special symbols that will award the following:
- Collect symbol – collects all cash symbols on same reel it appears
- Super Collect symbol – collects all cash symbols from all reels
- Upgrade symbol – multiplies all cash values on the reel it appears by x2, x3, x4 or x5
- Super Upgrade symbol – multiplies all cash values on all reels by x2, x3, x4 or x5
- Build symbol – increases the number of spots on the reel it’s on by a random number, up to a maximum of 10
- Super Build symbol – increases the number of spots on all reels by a random number, up to a maximum of 10
After all spots are filled with cash value symbols the feature ends.
Bonus Buy
You are able to buy the Cash Bonus Game for 100 times your bet. And also activate special bets to increase chances to trigger the bonus.
Verdict
Thunderkick always manages to create good looking, fun themed slots and Eager Beavers is no different. It’s a nice looking game.
The features, although nice, can also become a bit frustrating in my opinion.
The increasing reels only happen when you get a winning combination and these aren’t that common. I have noticed a lot of dead spins during my play.
And then we have that bonus game. It’s one of those features we’ve seen a lot, but somehow this one only awards one spin, that’s it. I know all spots will be filled, there are no blank spots, but the bonus game felt very short most of the time, which is a shame.
But I know the game can pay out some huge wins, so I am sure there are a lot of players that will enjoy this game. Don’t get me wrong, I also enjoyed it, but it did become a bit frustrating after a while.
