The game has 6 reels that are between 2 and 7 symbols high during each spin. And also has a top row of symbols above reels 2, 3, 4 and 5. This setup can give a maximum of 117.649 ways per spin.
You will find standard card symbols, as well as Asian themed symbols like a butterfly and koi fish. There are also wild symbols, which only appear on the top row and are ying yang symbols. Finally you have scatter symbols which are golden pandas, these appear on all normal reels.

Each time you get a winning combination, all winning symbols will drop down and all non winning symbols will be removed.
You will now get a free respin. If the winning combination is improved, the respins keep going. If not or there is no more room for new symbols, you are paid your win.
Winning symbols on the extra reel will fall down onto the reel below, as long as there is space. A reel can hold a maximum of 4 symbols. If a 5th lands, it will stay on the top reel.
Scatter symbols are always held during this feature.
Free Spins Feature
3 scatter symbols will award 8 free spins. Any extra scatter symbol will add 2 more free spins.
Free spins come with a general multiplier that starts at x1. When symbols are removed because of the Prize Builder feature, bamboo might randomly appear below the removed symbols. These are collected. Each time you collected 5 of these bamboos, the multiplier is increased by x1.

Verdict
Panda Money Megaways is a pretty basic slot that combines some mechanisms that Big Time Gaming already used before.
But they did it in a good way and with a nice theme.
I like the Prize Builder feature, since it comes into play each and every win. But also free spins where they combine it with an increasing multiplier. Which can lead to huge rewards. As the maximum payout of over 60.000 times bet shows.
Overall a solid title that I would really give a try.
