Pragmatic Play has released a new online slot game called Wild West Duels. And I have to be honest, they really went for it with this new title.
As the name might suggest the slot uses a western theme. Where the reels are set against a old western town and everything revolves around bandits, sheriffs and gun duels.
The game uses 5 reels that are each 5 symbols high and comes with 15 lines.

Expanding Wilds with Multiplier
During the base game and during the Duel feature, wild symbols can randomly expand to cover the entire reel. When it does it will also receive a random multiplier between x2 and x100, which is applied to all winning combinations the wild is part of.
Beer Game
3 or more Beer Game bonus symbols will award 10 free spins.
During free spins any wild symbol appearing will have a multiplier of x2 or x3 and will become sticky and stay on the reels until the end of the bonus.

Duel

Before free spins start you are taken to a screen with 25 spots to pick from. You get 9 picks. Each pick will award 1, 2, 3 or 5 wilds or a multiplier of 1x, 2x, 3x or 5x.
All picks are added together and after this your three free spins start. Each spin the number of wilds collected will appear on the reels and all winnings are multiplied with the total multiplier collected.

Verdict
The western theme has been a lot. Like on Dead or Alive, Outlaw and Wild West Gold Megaways. But I don’t mind it, I think the theme works a lot of the times and also works on Wild West Duel.
And I absolutely love this game. The expanding wilds with multiplier keep the base game interesting.
But I especially like the fact that there are three different free spins features. Which are all a lot of fun and can pay some great wins. I guess from lowest to highest volatile the features are Beer Game, Duel and Lost Relics, just because of how much the features cost when you buy them.
All three bonuses use features that aren’t new, but they combined them all in one cool game.
