Tale of Kyubiko is the latest slot game release by Play’n Go.
This game uses a classic setup of only 3 reels, each 3 symbols high and comes with only 5 lines.
The theme is a sort of fantastical Japanese creature which can transform between woman and fox. With symbols like blossoms, lanterns and more creatures.
Symbols may appear stacked on all reels. The game also features regular wild symbols and a special stacked wild symbol. This stacked wild symbol also triggers the bonuses.
At random, when the stacked wild symbol lans only partially on the screen, it may be nudged to cover the entire reel if this awards a winning combination.
When a fully stacked wild is used in a winning combination this feature is triggered.
You will receive free re-spins and the stacked wild symbols will move randomly over the reels and stop on a specific reel. After which the reels stop spinning.
Each time the wild symbols moves it will increase the multiplier by 1 step. The steps are x2, x5, x10 and x25.
Re-spins end when no more winning combination appears. After this multipliers are reset to x1.
Tale of Kyubiko is one of those simple, 3 reels slot games. This doesn’t appeal to everyone, but some of these games are packed with great bonuses and features.
This one isn’t so much. The game looks amazing, but the gameplay can become a bit boring pretty fast. Also the Inari wild symbol doesn’t seem to appear that often, which doesn’t help.
The re-spin feature can be pretty exciting, especially when it reaches the x25 multiplier. But that’s really the only redeeming quality of this game.
