Cosmic Fortune was released in 2014 and was meant to replace several local progressive jackpot games that where no longer available. Cosmic Fortune itself was discontinued in 2019.

The game came with 5 different jackpots, 3 progressive and 2 that had a set price. All of the progressive jackpot amounts were local, meaning specific to a casino or casino group, so the amounts would be different at every NetEnt casino.

Cosmic Fortune used collapsing symbols like Gonzo’s Quest does. When a winning combination appeared, the symbols would be removed and new symbols fall on top, creating another win possibility.

  • Cosmic Fortune came with a minimum bet of €0,15 and a maximum bet of €75,- per spin.
  • The return to player was 96,9%

Bonus

I especially liked the bonus game on Cosmic Fortune. First you were awarded with 10 free spins and every winning symbol you would receive during these spins would also be collected to become marbles.

After the free spins these marbles would then fall down in the second part of the bonus. Hitting buckets with credits or a special bonus bucket. If you managed to hit the bonus bucket 3 times you entered another bonus, if not, the bonus ends after all marbles have dropped.

In the last part of the bonus you would be able to win one of the 5 jackpots. Hit a specific jackpot bucket 3 times to win that jackpot.

Discontinued

I’m not really sure why this game was discontinued. It was a unique slot game that also featured some big progressive jackpots. And these games always seem to do very good.

Maybe the fact that the jackpot amounts were casino specific had something to do with it, but of course I’m not sure.
