Back in 2017 NetEnt released a game called Finn and the Swirly Spin and after that NetEnt released Finn’s Golden Tavern.
With the same funny leprechaun character Finn, now with a fun tavern theme, with beer and other drinks.
As with the first release, the screen fills up with a total of 25 symbols into a spiral. You have a winning combination when three or more of the same symbols appear on a horizontal or vertical line. Winning symbols will be removed from play and new symbols will spiral onto the screen.
The bottom left most symbol, the end of the spiral, will feature a treasure chest. This chest will spin further into the middle, each time a win occurs. When the key reaches the middle, the free spins feature is triggered, which will be explained below.
During base spins and free spins, a winning combination of 3 or more of the same symbols, without a wild symbol, will leave behind a wild symbol when symbols are removed.
Can trigger at random on a non winning spin. Finn slams his fist on the table which will move a coin symbol so that a guaranteed win occurs.
When the Treasure Chest reaches the middle spot of the spiral it will trigger free spins.
You are awarded with 5 free spins.
A general multiplier is now added which will go up by x1 each time 5 wild symbols have been created.
If the chest symbol reaches the middle spot of the spiral during free spins, you will activate a mini bonus game, adding random coin symbols onto the reels.
Finn’s Golden Tavern uses what players loved about the first game, with a couple of different bonuses.
It’s still one of those games that you either like, or are not interested in at all. Quite a quirky game for a specific group of players. It’s also a low volatile game with a small maximum win.
But the game does look good and is pretty fun to play, to enjoy yourself for a while, until you move to more interesting games.
