Let it Burn was released by NetEnt early 2023.
It uses a pretty basic gamble theme, with sevens, diamonds and fruit.
The game uses 5 reels that are each 4 symbols high during the base spins. And using 1024 ways, so all symbols pay from left to right, no matter where on the reels.
Besides all normal symbols you will also find wild symbols, but these only appear on reels 2, 3 and 4. Scatter symbols appear on all reels.
On reels 2, 3 and 4 you can get a symbol that they call a Rolling Reel. These are single symbols that act as a small slot and spin a new symbol each time they land.
These symbols can show any normal symbol except scatters, but also wild symbols.
A Rolling Reel start with a x1 multiplier and will move down one spot on the reel after each spin and the multiplier will increase by x1 after each move.
These symbols fall off the reel when they reached the bottom.
On these Rolling Reels wild symbols can also appear. And this can be normal or special wild symbols.
Two Rolling Reels can also move into the same spot. When this happens the multipliers are added together and it becomes one Rolling Reel.
3, 4 or 5 scatter symbols will award 10, 15 and 20 free spins respectively.
During free spins an added row of symbols is added, increasing the number of ways to 3125.
You will also start with between 1 and 3 Rolling Reels added the reels at the start of the bonus.
2, 3, 4 and 5 scatter symbols during free spins will award 3, 5, 8 and 12 extra free spins.
For 100, 150 and 200 times bet you are able to buy 10, 15 and 20 free spins respectively.
Let it Burn, is a bit of a miss. Both in maximum payout and also in gameplay.
Of course it comes with these things called Rolling Reels, which seems cool. But to be honest, they appear a lot and after a while they just become anoying.
And free spins are pretty nice, but if the game only comes with a maximum win of only 2.700 times your bet, it never gets really exciting.
The non descript theme doesn’t help either.
So for me, Let it Burn, is one of the rare NetEnt titles to skip. But I’m sure some players will still enjoy the game.
