Sparks used 20 paylines, but players were able to choose to play from left to right, or both ways, creating 40 paylines.
The game also used special wild symbols on reels 2 and 4. These symbols could expand, but this happened at random, so they would expand up, down, or cover the entire reel. Also the special clone feature was triggered when one or both of these wild symbols appeared.
The symbols on the left of the wild symbol would be copied to the right of the wild symbols. And when both wild symbols appeared, the second one would do the same, creating full lines of the same symbol. When both symbols where fully expanded, all 5 reels would have the same symbols on them. Creating a big win.
