Starburst XXXtreme – Overview
Starburst XXXtreme was released by NetEnt in 2021. And is a follow-up to one of the most famous online slot games ever, Starburst.
The game comes with 9 lines. All the symbols are the same as on the original Starburst slot game but only pays from left to right only.
Wild symbols appear on reels 2, 3 and 4 and will expand to cover the entire reel when they hit. All symbols appear stacked on all reels.

Re-spins Bonus
Whenever 1 or more wild symbols appear, they will expand an pay any winning combination. After this you get a free re-spin with the wild reel held. After this any winning combinations are paid.
When another wild symbol appear during re-spins, this is also held and you get another free re-spin.
Any wild symbol will receive a random multiplier of x2, x3, x5, x10, x25, x50, x100 or x150. If more than one wild symbol appears, the multipliers are added together (not multiplied together).

Verdict
Starburst XXXtreme really adds a lot more excitement than the original version. The multipliers on the expanding wild symbols are amazing and can pay out huge. Starburst XXXtreme can pay out a maximum of 200.000 times your bet, which is absolutely insane!
They really kept the feel of the original Starburst slot game, but made it more extreme, hence the name.
Overall a great follow-up to a much beloved game.
