Moon Princess Stargazing – Overview
Play’n Go released the original Moon Princess back in 2017 and has since been releasing several versions of the game, like for instance Moon Princess Trinity and Moon Princess – Power of Love. Now they have added another addition, Moon Princess Stargazing.
The game keeps a lot of the same mechanisms and also the same theme, but does offer some different added bonuses this time.
Moon Princess Stargazing is played on a grid of 5 by 5 symbols. Winning combinations consists of 3, 4 or 5 of the same symbols horizontally or vertically. No matter where on the grid.
Winning symbols are removed and all other symbols fall down. This can create multiple wins within the same spin. There are no new symbols added on top, so it’s possible to clear the grid.
Moon Princess Stargazing comes with a nice maximum payout of 10.000 times your bet and is a high volatile slot game.
Features
Wild symbols
When a winning combination of exactly three symbols is removed, the middle symbol will leave behind a wild symbol.
Increasing Multiplier
During each spin between 3 and 10 random spots on the reels will be highlighted. When a win occurs on one or more those spots, for each spot, the multiplier will go up by x1.
Any winning combinations are multiplied by this multiplier, which will reset when a new spin is bought.
Getting a winning combination on all the highlighted positions during a spin will award a 5 times Constellation Prize, which is multiplied by the multiplier.
Girl Power
On any non winning spin the character on screen can trigger and award one of the following random features:
- Astra – will award 2 sticky wilds which will stay on the reels until no more wins occur
- Nova – will add between 2 and 5 wild symbols in a diagonal line
- Star – will add 2 or 3 random wilds
Resonance
Next to the grid you will find a meter that consists of three parts. Any winning combination of 3, 4 or 5 princess symbols will fill the meter with 1, 2 or 3 spots respectively.
When you fill the meter you will get 1 free spin where each character will activate its feature, one after the other. If you manage to clear the entire grid during this bonus you will trigger the free spins feature.
Free Spins Feature
You are awarded with 5 free spins. Before spins start pick one of the three girls and their associated feature.
On every non winning spin the chosen character will award their feature.
Each time you manage to fill the Resonance meter, you are awarded with 3 extra free spins, up to 50.
The general multiplier doesn’t reset between spins and can go up to x100.
Verdict
Moon Princess Stargazing is not a big departure from the other Moon Princess slot games.
In fact, a lot of it has remained very familiar. But what is new is the power of the princesses and also the way the multiplier goes up.
If you like the Moon Princess slot games, I am sure you will also really like this one. But in general it’s too much of the same for me.
